Getting lost and going on an adventure are the same thing, just depends on how you choose to show up to the experience. We seem to be losing our way… together.
Some are relocating to a safe place, others are protesting in the streets, some relationships are ending, some people are taking up new jobs that better suit the lockdown economy.
Whether this is a random and temporary shuffling of the cards, or if a permanent alteration of society and its laws is underway, learning how to surf the chaos is looking like a pretty good muscle to train.
This is one skill I’ve developed over years of social experiments – traveling across countries without using money, changing my name, discarding all the clothes which defined me, sleeping on the streets, talking to strangers and generally attempting to dissolve the story I was attached to.
I would like to help you shed your skin.
I am extending an invitation to those who wish they had an escape plan. To those who long to unlearn the program of “Me”. Train with me?
Press up against the outer limit of the known and let your defences collapse. Break the window and let the gale blow through, knocking over the pretty vase, so you can replant the flowers in the wild fields… or stick it back together with the golden joinery of kintsugi!
It can sometimes feel like the only options are to either 1) BREAK UP or 2) HAVE A BREAKDOWN – but what if you could just methodically destroy all of your attachments, to stand naked in the new light of all that lies beyond what you think HAS TO BE?
Rather than letting all the current uncertainty make you shrink, expand into your initiation by choice? If you’re curious, reach out to me?
